I’ve always loved being outside and surrounded by plants. There’s something incredible about watching a tiny seed grow into something beautiful and productive. It reminds me that growth takes time, patience, and care.
Gardening also helps me stay connected to the seasons. Planting, growing, and harvesting have given me a deeper appreciation for nature and for the rhythms of the year. What started as a love for plants has grown into a passion for helping others discover the joy, confidence, and abundance that a garden can bring.

Whether you’re starting your very first garden, have tried before and didn’t get the results you hoped for, or already have a garden and just need a little help along the way, I’m here to help make gardening feel simpler and more doable.
Gardening doesn’t have to be overwhelming. There is so much information available that sometimes it’s hard to know where to begin—or which advice actually applies to your garden. That’s where having a garden coach can make all the difference.
During an in-person consultation, we’ll walk your space together, talk about what you’d like to grow, and look at things like sunlight, available space, existing beds, containers, soil, irrigation, and what’s already growing. Then we’ll create a plan based on your garden, your goals, your timeline, and the amount of time you actually have to give it.
And you don’t have to start over. If you already have a garden, I’ll work with what you have, and help you figure out what may need adjusting and what is already working.
I can help with:
Most importantly, I want to teach you why we’re doing what we’re doing. My goal isn’t for you to need a garden coach forever. It’s to give you the knowledge and confidence to eventually do this on your own.
We’ll take it step by step, keep it manageable, and build from there.
When I leave your garden, what I hope you’re thinking is:
“Oh my gosh—I can do this. I can really do this.”

I love the history and spirit behind Victory Gardens: ordinary people using what they had, growing what they could, contributing their small part and sharing with their communities.
I believe there’s a place for that same idea today.
A Modern Victory Garden doesn’t have to be acres of vegetables or even a backyard. It can be a few herbs on a patio, one tomato growing in a container, a pollinator garden, a raised bed or a garden large enough to help feed a family.
It’s not about how much you grow. It’s about choosing to grow something.
It’s moving toward a closer connection with our food and creation, greater self-reliance, less waste, better stewardship and the confidence that comes from discovering what we’re capable of growing.
There’s also a peace that comes from gardening that I think we often underestimate—the simple experience of being outside with the dirt, sunshine, water and plants and participating in the process of growing something.
